Children's Church
(Ages 3-10) Opens for 10am service
At Kids Rock children’s ministry, we provide interactive bible lessons which are taught in a manner that is easily understood by toddlers and elementary children alike.
Each lesson is carefully studied and thoughtfully prayed over. Children are encouraged to learn a new memory verse each week, participate in games and lesson related activities as well as have the opportunity to build lasting friendships with their peers; while also building a foundation of faith to further the Kingdom of God.
*Visitors are always welcome to join the fun by filling out a registration form at check in (entry way) and notifying staff of any allergies or special needs.

**All teachers and adults working with your children at Rock Point have had a background check for the safety of your children.

Children’s Classrooms are divided as follows:
Trekkers: Ages 3-4
Base Camp: Kindergarten- 2nd Grade
Summit Squad: 3rd Grade - 5th Grade
Rockin' Babies
Nursery
(Ages Newborn -2 yrs.) opens for 10am service
In the Rockin’ Babies nursery our primary focus is to create a secure and loving environment for all the little ones who enter. We want them to learn from a young age that church is a safe and exciting place to be!

Meet Our Kids Rock Administrator!
Hello! My name is Mellisa Bonnette, and I am the Kids Rock Administrator for Rock Point Church!
I have been writing curriculum for and working with children for the past 10 years with Girl Scouts – Dakota Horizons as their Director of Community & Member Engagement. I love bringing joy, passion, hope, confidence, and courage to our youth and watching them grow. I have lived in Rapid City most of my life and am lucky to have my family close by in the surrounding Black Hills area. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology with an emphasis in Criminal Justice for Juveniles and an Associate degree in Business Management and Marketing.
Most importantly, I am mom to a wonderful daughter, Kaylie, who is about to head off to college. I enjoy reading, hiking, kayaking, and solo drives through the Black Hills.
